4. What is page loading time and how will it influence your design?

Page loading time is the time taken for the user to view the webpage. Web designs with animated gifs or images not optimized for the web will take a longer time to load. Any webpage should not take longer than 15seconds to load.

5. Read about Web Design Process and write what you think about it.

To start, one has to consult the client for the design of the webpage. Even before one get to set up a webpage, one has to come up with the design. This means thumbnails sketches on paper. One also has to think about the navigation on the page, whether it is easy for the user to navigate through the website. One has to think about the contents of the page too. All in all, the website has to be simple to be navigated, has an interesting design which don’t require a long page loading time and is straight to the point about the content that is to be delivered. When all that is done, coding for the website is done. After that is done, testing the website on different browsers is done and amendments are made. Once everything is finalised, the website is ready to be launched and maintenance is carried out so that the users will keep visiting the website.
